Samruddhi Mahila Bachat Gat was established as a self-help group on March 5, 2007 in Vasai, India. The group of 13 ladies started the NGO Samruddhi Seva in 2013 in order to help women discover and improve their artisnal skills. The courses offered include fashion design, mehandi, warli painting, paper quilting, fabric painting, hand embroidery, jewelry creation, and much more. 

Our Partnerships

  • We work with various corporations in order to increase employmentn opportunities to students and women in the artisan field. 

  • We work with CSR representatives to fully understand their needs and requirements

  • We make sure to coordinate, monitor, and work with teachers and students for quality products

  • We stay true to requirements of the companies and stay true to the desired schedule

  • We receive, work, and calcuate requirements for each order, taking into account requirements and costs of material and details of products in bulk orders

  • We insure an accurate quality check of final products

Our Achievements So Far

  • Organised Fashion Design and Beautician courses on behalf of Municipal Corporation in the Vasai, Virar and Nallasopara region. Over thousands of women took the advantage of these courses and got trained in these fields.

  • Organised Flower making, Mehandi and Tailoring courses for 400 women on behalf of Janashikshan Sanstha, Warli.

  • 1200 women from J.S.S. and 1100 women from Municipal Corporation in Vasai, Virar and Nallasopara region have been trained in Fashion designing and Beautician course.

  • Trained 100 adivasi women in Jewellery making course through M.E.T. Services

  • Trained 400 Sakhimanch women

  • Implemented various projects of Private Companies. Manufactured RARA Foundation's 13,500 eco friendly bags. 

  • Manufactured 20,000 bags on the occasion of eco friendly day for Municipal Council.

  • Manufactured 7500 bags for Municipal Corporation Marathon Competition. 

  • Manufactured 100 silk bags for CANNES Film Festival. Made school uniforms and dresses for annual programs. 

  • Made uniforms for Nurses and apron for hospitals.

  • Worked with BHARTI Project, NGO, Churches, Sr. Vedruna & Father in rural areas.

  • Coordinated with company's CSR activity as RAYCHEM, MET Seva, J.P. Trust

  • Worked with Atma Valabh Swavalambi Mahila Sanstha Nallasopara to train rural women tailoring with marketing.
